Edward Goes Home to Washington

After being in the car for so long, he needed to get out and scamper around...

Edward and the Big Rig

For the first leg of our trip up North, Edward hitched a ride on our big rig.

Trying to get the other truckers to honk at him...he was so excited.

Brian let him take a turn at the wheel.

Brian got a little fed up with Edward. I think he's just jealous of his bouffant.

Edward & Amber's Adventures in Salt Lake

Edward patiently waiting in the car (trying not to glow too much in the sun) while I ran in the gas station to get us some snacks for the road.

After I arrived with my plural husband in tow, my sister realized who he was and tried to steal him for herself.

Edward and I finally arrived in Salt Lake safe and sound after the long drive.

Edward came to my work to see if I could go and play baseball. Unfortunately I still had a few hours left at work so he stayed to help.

He did a great job helping me count the money out to the members.

After Edward stayed the night he helped Kari and I pick out all our groceries for dinner at my house. (For those of you who don't know, Jake and I are in a dinner group with 7 other couples. We meet once a month and rotate throughout the year. March was our month to cook so I asked Chef Kari to cook her specialty Mexican Feast. She did a great job! The food was fabulous!!) It was so fun to have him around to keep us company as we cooked. He tried to help but his arms just weren't long enough.

I think Kari was getting jealous of all the time he got to spend at my house.

I am not sure whose house he will be at next but he is ready for some new adventures. Until next time.......

Alyssa+Edward=True Love Forever

I was quite thrilled when I had an unexpected guest show up at my door Sunday night (seen below). But quickly took advantage of wee Pocket Edward's company. He fit in quite naturally in our home and is QUITE the jewel when it comes to being one of the fam...

The first thing we did together was read my favorite latest McClure book. Edward wasn't too impressed (as you can see). He told me he "wrote the book when it comes to romance."

Can't argue with him there.

We stayed up late talking and laughing together. Edward is quite the wit.

He even took initiative during one of Ian's night terrors (since he was already awake), soothing him back to sleep. When Ian woke up the next morning, he asked for Edward instead of Mommy.

How sweet.

Edward's aura was especially radiant in this picture. He's taking initiative yet again by taking charge of Calvin's evening feed.

He did other things not pictured: took the trash out, did the dishes, cleaned up the clutter. As you can see, he's one of the fam now.

Although, he was NOT AMUSED when Will appeared in my Edward shirt, desecrating and making a mockery of it. Will felt a bit like he was being replaced and wanted to fight back. He underestimated Edward's reaction, however.

Currently Will is recovering from the bite. He's in a lot of pain...so you may want to keep your distance these next three days. I'll let you know how he fares after that.

Beware other husbands out there. Edward is not one to be messed with.

Edward and Cyndi

Oh what fun we had at my house.

Edward wrote me a song.

The he played it for me. It was beautiful. Almost as good as Bella's.

Then he taught it to me.

Edward didn't go to church with us. He stayed home and read.

Jena is now a BIG fan of Edward. (What girl is not?)

Writing Circle

Pocket Edward was invited to a prestigious event last night: The Foster Hills Writing Circle. Here he was able to meet some of his biggest fans, and he did so with his usual grace.

(Sorry, Kari, I couldn't resist!)

He then scoped out the refreshment table, where he was delighted to find "punch" that was prepared especially for him.

Whoa, there, take it easy, cowboy.

Pocket Edward then spent some quality time with Alyssa, reading and critiquing the work of other members of the Writing Circle.

He really identified with some of the chapters...

He was so inspired, he decided to put some time into his current work-in-progress.

When asked, Pocket Edward replied that he couldn't remember the last time he had such a delightful evening. (You know, in a stand-offish, intimidating, vampirey way.)

Temptation

Edward was found smooching with a Disney Princess this morning. It was very disturbing. But as it turned out, it was just a case of mistaken identity.
(That's Belle, not Bella)

After that was cleared up, Edward was able to withstand all other temptation. And believe me, there was a lot of it. Those darn Disney Princesses are brazen hussies! I guess no one is immune to the power of Pocket Edward.

An Unexpected Visitor

Pocket Edward has finally come to visit his greatest fans. He arrived on Monday afternoon at Georgia's house, and had a warm welcome from Georgia and her daughters.

Edward has decided that he likes it here, so his visit will be an extended one. Come with us as we follow Pocket Edward on his Many Adventures. And you never know... he may come visit you!
