Saying Good-bye to Washington...

It was sad. Really sad.
I'm not ashamed to admit I felt excess moisture pool in the corners of my eyes when I saw him standing there gazing at the mountain.

Subjecting himself to torture for the amusement of others because he's just that kind of guy.

Edward around the house.

Testing the water quality at my Mom's house. The verdict? Even better than water from Beaver, Utah which won Best Tasting Water in the Nation in 2006.

A little light reading. Really, he's quite full of himself.

A little working out.

Creating (then fixing) dents.

He wrote a new song for me.

I have to give credit to my nieces for several of these very artistic shots.

Edward Goes Home to Washington

He insisted I take his picture almost as soon as we crossed the state line.

Edward, of course, loves Mt. Rainier.

After being in the car for so long, he needed to get out and scamper around...

...and climb a tree.

Pausing in the shade to avoid a rare moment of sunlight streaming through the canopy of trees.

Stealth requires practice, even for Edward.

Edward and the Big Rig

For the first leg of our trip up North, Edward hitched a ride on our big rig.

Trying to get the other truckers to honk at him...he was so excited.

Brian let him take a turn at the wheel.

"Yooooou're heeeeere! There's nooooothing I fear!"

Brian got a little fed up with Edward. I think he's just jealous of his bouffant.

Warming himself in the sun. Not unlike a cat...

Edward & Amber's Adventures in Salt Lake

Edward patiently waiting in the car (trying not to glow too much in the sun) while I ran in the gas station to get us some snacks for the road.
After I arrived with my plural husband in tow, my sister realized who he was and tried to steal him for herself.

Edward and I finally arrived in Salt Lake safe and sound after the long drive.
Edward keeping me company just before bedtime.
If you look closely you can see Edward's shadow from the projector. He was watching himself star in the one and only Twilight.
Edward and his biggest fans waiting for a Table at Texas Roadhouse.
The waiter just had to get a picture with the famous Edward of Twilight. (Actually, I think he was quite embarassed. ) =)

Edward got caught sneaking a cheese fry off the appetizer plate!

Edward came to Ikea with me
We looked through the Ikea Catalog

He adopted a pet Rat, and I think I heard him say under his breath that it reminded him alot of Jacob Black

Edward even decided to try out his artistic ability on the Dry Erase board.

Then he joined me in one of the display kitchens and turned his nose up at the hot chocolate

The adventures of Edward and Rachel

Edward came to my work to see if I could go and play baseball. Unfortunately I still had a few hours left at work so he stayed to help.
He did a great job helping me count the money out to the members.

After Edward stayed the night he helped Kari and I pick out all our groceries for dinner at my house. (For those of you who don't know, Jake and I are in a dinner group with 7 other couples. We meet once a month and rotate throughout the year. March was our month to cook so I asked Chef Kari to cook her specialty Mexican Feast. She did a great job! The food was fabulous!!) It was so fun to have him around to keep us company as we cooked. He tried to help but his arms just weren't long enough.

I think Kari was getting jealous of all the time he got to spend at my house.

I am not sure whose house he will be at next but he is ready for some new adventures. Until next time.......
